Born on September 8, 1968, in Daegu as the eldest son, he graduated from Seoul National University with a B.A. in Psychology (Class of ’86) and earned his Master’s degree from Seoul National University Graduate School of Business Administration (Class of ’90). He completed his military service with honor as a Sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army, serving in the KATUSA program (Korean Augmentation to the United States Army).

After serving for three years in the International Finance Department at Shinhan General Finance, he built a distinguished career in Yeouido as a Senior Research Analyst at Shinheung Securities (now Hyundai Motor Securities), Principal Research Analyst at Dongwon Economic Research Institute (now Korea Investment & Securities Research Center), and Head of Investment Strategy at Fides Securities (now Heungkuk Securities). After concluding his tenure in Yeouido, he launched Anti-View.com (later renamed Bull-View.com) to continue his independent investment analysis, served as CEO of Korea Financial Rating Co., Ltd., and actively contributed as an economic columnist for major media outlets, including Money Today and Edaily.

In 2006, he entered the industrial glove industry and served as Managing Director at Daeyun Glove Co., Ltd. for 19 years. The company supplies essential raw materials to the majority of leading glove manufacturers across South Korea, maintaining a close symbiotic ecosystem. While operating with lean direct manufacturing, he oversaw the entire distribution and global trading divisions of industrial safety gloves, establishing a disciplined and robust operational foundation.

신한종합금융 국제금융부 3년 근무 이후, 신흥증권(現 현대차증권) 리서치센터 선임연구원, 동원경제연구소(現 한국투자증권 리서치센터) 책임연구원, 피데스증권(現 흥국증권) 투자전략팀장을 끝으로 여의도를 떠났다. 이후 안티뷰닷컴(후에 불뷰닷컴으로 명칭 변경)을 개설하여 투자분석을 이어갔으며, ㈜한국금융평가 대표를 역임했다. 머니투데이, 이데일리 등에서 경제 칼럼니스트로 활동했다.
